Peyton Manning, retired NFL quarterback, recently compared his daily life to that of actor Tom Cruise in a hilarious Instagram post. In his post, Manning can be seen standing next to a Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning poster, while wearing a blue hoodie with jeans and a black baseball cap.

The latest entry to the Mission: Impossible series is due to be released in a few days and has received mostly positive reviews from critics. In the movie, actor Tom Cruise performs several dramatic stunts, as he usually does, as his character Ethan Hunt tries to stop an AI that has gone rogue.

“Tom Cruise’s work day: dangling from planes and jumping off motorcycles… Mine: a 3-hour Zoom with Eli where he uses his golden retriever and flying pillows to demonstrate a pass rush… We both live dangerously… Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning in theaters May 23” Peyton Manning captioned his Instagram story while sharing a picture of himself standing next to a Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning poster.

Peyton Manning played in the NFL all the way from 1998 to 2012, covering most of his career with the Indianapolis Colts. Manning played the last three seasons with the Denver Broncos. In his NFL career, the 49-year-old quarterback won the SuperBowl twice and was crowned Super Bowl MVP once.

Manning started out his NFL career after the Indianapolis Colts selected him as the very first pick in the first round of the draft. Before the NFL league, Manning played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. After his retirement from the game, the former quarterback has turned his attention to media and broadcasting. Currently, he hosts ManningCast with his brother, Eli Manning, during the NFL season.

Peyton Manning’s Former Team, Indianapolis Colts, To Meet Dolphins In Season-Opener

On another note, Peyton Manning’s former team, the Indianapolis Colts, will be locking horns with the Miami Dolphins in their season opener. Before taking on Miami, the Colts will be warming up with three preseason games against the Baltimore Ravens, the Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Indianapolis Colts will surely hope that this upcoming NFL season holds more wins for them when compared to the previous year. In the 2024 NFL season, the Colts finished second in the AFC South after winning eight games and losing nine. Indianapolis played their very last game of the season against the Jaguars, winning 26-23, but were kicked from the tournament after the win came a little too late.
