The Las Vegas Raiders offense has been a major problem this season. Chip Kelly was brought in as the offensive coordinator, and they traded for quarterback Geno Smith.

Well, Las Vegas’s offense struggled once again against the Cleveland Browns at home this past Sunday. The Raiders lost to Cleveland by a final score of 24-10. With the win for the Browns, they improve to 3-8 on the season and Las Vegas drops to 2-9. Hours after the game ended, head coach Pete Carroll decided to fire Kelly as offensive coordinator. This didn’t even last for a year. He was the offensive coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes last season.
Las Vegas Raiders Fans Question OC Chip Kelly Being Fired After Loss Against the Cleveland Browns

There are a lot of Raiders fans who are questioning head coach Pete Carroll for firing Kelly as offensive coordinator. Las Vegas fans feel like the quarterback, the head coach, and the offensive line are more to blame here for the struggles this season. This is what some fans had to say about it on Twitter:
Lmfao. Pete using Chip as a scapegoat. I wish Mark Davis wasn’t so braindead when it comes to running a football team.

So stupid. I would have fired the oline coach first and let him try his system with a different qb. Geno is horrendous. The line is bad but Geno is even worse. This team is a dumpster fire

Pete should leave the team too; let’s bring in an interim manager. Things can’t get any worse. I’m glad Chip left.

That’s what you get for listening to Brady and not drafting Sheduer.

Another coach that will keep getting paid by the Raiders lol what a joke.

Things are not going to get any easier for the Raiders as they will go on the road next week and face the Los Angeles Chargers (7-4 record). If Las Vegas does not win another game for the rest of the season, maybe they will make more changes with the team, specifically at head coach and quarterback as well.
