With a lot of upsets this week happening in college football, the Penn State Nittany Lions jumped up from being seventh in the country to fourth. Here is what Penn State fans had to say about being ranked fourth in the nation entering the seventh week of the college football season:

There are no questions about the defense with this football team. Some people do question how the way quarterback Drew Allar has been playing.  He did complete 70.8% of his passes for 237 yards and one touchdown, along with a rushing touchdown against the UCLA Bruins on Saturday afternoon.

Up next for the Penn State Nittany Lions will be a date with the USC Trojans on the road this Saturday. USC went from being ranked to unranked in the AP Poll after the 24-17 loss on Saturday against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on the road.

This is a game that Penn State has to win. Head coach James Franklin needs to win this game to not hear backlash from this fanbase. They have a chance to do something special this season, but they can’t slip up this weekend on the road.
