The Penn State Nittany Lions aim for significant improvement on offense in 2025, which could boost their chances of winning the Big Ten and making another deep College Football Playoff run. The good news is they added three starting-caliber wide receivers through the transfer portal and returned their star quarterback, two talented running backs, and four starting offensive linemen for another season. The offensive line will be key to the offense’s success in the running and passing games.
Penn State Nittany Lions’ RT had a great season before the injury

Anthony Donkoh had a solid redshirt freshman season, allowing eight pressures and zero sacks before an injury prematurely ended it. He initially suffered a knee injury against the Wisconsin Badgers, causing him to miss the following week against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Donkoh returned to play the next three games but suffered a season-ending right knee injury against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, sidelining him for the final five games.
The talented right tackle missed spring practices and the Blue-White Game.
Penn State Nittany Lions’ blocker gets major injury update

During Thursday’s press conference, James Franklin provided an injury update on Anthony Donkoh via Tyler Donohue of 247Sports. Franklin said that he expects all three players mentioned, including Donkoh, to be fully cleared for the first day of training camp.
“We expect all three to be fully cleared,” Franklin said, via Donohue. “Not just for camp, but really for the majority of the summer as well.
“All of them we anticipate being full-go from Day 1 of training camp.”
He will compete for the starting job against a former five-star

During training camp, Anthony Donkoh will compete against former five-star Nolan Rucci for the starting right tackle job. He began the 2024 season as the backup to Donkoh but replaced him following the injury. Rucci finished his redshirt junior year strong, allowing 13 pressures and one sack in six starts.
