Paul Rudd seems to be a die-hard Chiefs fan as seen from his recent appearance on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with the Kelce brothers. Rudd spoke at length about the intense struggles that the Chiefs went through in this campaign and also about Patrick Mahomes’ season-ending injury in the Chargers matchup.
Mahomes tore his ACL in the game with two minutes on the clock and was taken out of the matchup. The quarterback ended up undergoing surgery for the same a day later. Nevertheless, the team’s chances were already pretty bad even before his injury, with the Chiefs announced as being out of the playoffs for the first time in more than ten years.

“I’m thinking about Patrick, I’m wishing him a speedy recovery and everything for the club, but I’m OK, and I’m excited. You know what? I’m excited for some of the players to get maybe a little bit of a summer vacation. I mean, my God, you’ve been, you’ve (Travis Kelce) played an extra season of football compared to everyone else. And so I’m like, ‘Oh, good, you get a break and some a chance to kind of rest up.’ And so, yeah, I’m not too, too upset.” Paul Rudd said.

Paul Rudd also spoke much about the chances and the bias that the team might have faced throughout this campaign. However, it is clear that the team actually received plenty of favor since the last couple of years, something which has been called out by both fans and critics. Nevertheless, the team continues to be in good books with officials, especially because of their link with Taylor Swift.
Paul Rudd Has Nothing But Praise For Chiefs Franchise
Paul Rudd also spoke much about his exact love for the entire Chiefs franchise during his appearance in the ‘New Heights’ podcast. Rudd also managed to baptize his own son as a Chiefs fan, to continue the tradition in the family.

“The joy and the memories and everything that the Chiefs have given me with my family, with my kid, it’s been an embarrassment of riches.” Paul Rudd said.
Of course, it was mere embarrassment for many other fans who felt that the Chiefs had one of their worst ever seasons this time out. Apart from Mahomes, several other crucial players including Travis Kelce also committed many blunders, leading the team to post very few wins.
