Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, gave fans a peek at how the Mahomes crew spent their Fourth of July — soaking up the sun on a yacht with close friends, Summitt and Miranda Hogue.
In a reposted Instagram Story from Summitt, Brittany looked relaxed in a blue swimsuit paired with a white polka-dot jacket. Patrick, meanwhile, kept it casual in blue swim shorts as the Chiefs quarterback enjoyed a boat ride with friends, smiling beside SI Swimsuit model Summitt Hogue.
This year’s celebration felt like a tradition in the making. Around this time last year, the two couples were overseas in London, where they celebrated the 4th of July by catching Morgan Wallen’s concert at BST Hyde Park. Brittany had shared a sweet moment from that trip — a photo of Patrick hugging her in front of the stage — and days later, the couple revealed they were expecting baby No. 3.
“Round three, here we come,” they posted together on July 12, 2024.

Just a week after that, the Mahomes family confirmed it would be another girl, with big sister Sterling Skye helping announce the news in a fun Tic-Tac-Toe-themed gender reveal.
Patrick Mahomes’ Gold Cup Hype Didn’t Age Well
Off the boat and back into sports mode, Patrick Mahomes showed some love to the U.S. Men’s National Team during the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final against Mexico — but his excitement didn’t last long.

After Chris Richards gave the U.S. an early lead just four minutes into the match, Mahomes jumped on X to post:
“Great start!!!!”
Unfortunately for Mahomes and U.S. fans, the celebration came too soon. Mexico hit back fast — Raúl Jiménez tied things up in the 27th minute, and then Edson Álvarez sealed the deal with a go-ahead goal in the 77th.

The mood shifted at NRG Stadium in Houston. One half of the crowd fell silent, while the Mexican fans took over with full-blown celebrations. Just like that, Mahomes’ tweet became a time capsule of hope that didn’t last.
