Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Travis Kelce, are set to open a steakhouse right before the 2025 NFL season kicks off in Kansas City. The restaurant is almost finished with construction starting last year. The place will be named 1587 Prime, after both their jersey numbers. While Mahomes plays with a 15 number jersey, tight end Travis Kelce plays with 87.

According to recent reports, the 1587 Prime steakhouse will be located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel, and will take up two floors of the building. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, last year spoke to People Magazine, and admitted that the steakhouse was his and Mahomes’ way of giving back to the people of KC.

“[It’s] just another thing that we want to bring to Kansas City, to be able to show our appreciation for the city, knowing how much they love their food and how much they love their football.” Travis Kelce told People Magazine last year about his restaurant venture with Patrick Mahomes.

1587 Prime is definitely not Patrick Mahomes’ only business venture. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback also co-owns the Kansas City Royals MLB team. Furthermore, Mahomes has invested in fitness companies like Hyperice and Whoop. Last year, the quarterback also launched his own coffee brand, Throne SPORT COFFEE, as a co-founder with Michael Fedele.

Patrick Mahomes’ Brother, Jackson Mahomes, Reveals New GF

While Patrick Mahomes is living his football dreams, his brother Jackson Mahomes seems to be living a dream of his own. Jackson Mahomes, who is a social media influencer, recently revealed that he is in a relationship with another influencer, Shyanne Blankenship. The two showed off their love in a TikTok where they can be seen grooving to Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’.

The TikTok video posted by Jackson Mahomes also received plenty of hate and criticism from viewers. Several social media users pointed out that Blankenship seemed icked-out by Mahomes and did not like him genuinely. This is not the first time that the influencer-brother of Patrick Mahomes has been criticized. Jackson Mahomes has been trolled time and time again for apparently using his famous brother for clout.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the 2025 NFL season. The previous season ended on a sad note for the Chiefs as they lost badly to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
