Patrick Mahomes and his teammate, Travis Kelce, were recently seen revving up the audience at the Big Slick Show. The annual fundraiser for the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City is a favorite for Mahomes and Kelce who were seen at the event last year as well. Mahomes wore a brick-red shirt and trousers with a white t-shirt and a baseball cap. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce wore a black track Adidas track suit.

The two Kansas City teammates and close friends were really enjoying themselves at the event after being introduced on the stage, much to the delight of the crowd which was going wild. The Big Slick Show has been conducted every year since 2010, mainly for raising funds for children’s medical care.
Patrick Mahomes and his tight end, Travis Kelce, will also be preparing for their upcoming NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes has been a part of the Chiefs roster since 2017 after being selected as the tenth pick of the very first round of the NFL draft. The quarterback played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders before making it to the NFL.
In his football career, Mahomes won three Super Bowls with the Chiefs. Mahomes also won the Super Bowl MVP title three times and was crowned the NFL Most Valuable Player twice. In the 2024 NFL season, the quarterback threw for a total of 3,928 yards, scoring 26 touchdowns, while managing 11 interceptions for the team.
Patrick Mahomes’ Mom, Randi Martin, Opens Up On Single-Parenting Struggles
On another note, Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Martin, launched her latest business venture, the Sports Parent Academy last week and revealed her actual reasons for doing so. Apparently, Randi Martin struggled very much when she raised her sons, Patrick Mahomes and Jackson Mahomes, after her divorce. After going through so much as a single mother, Randi Martin decided to launch the academy to help other sports parents.
Apart from delivering advice from her own life experiences, Randi Martin has also brought in the help of other experts like family therapists and psychologists to help her clients. Martin also opened up about her struggles in an Instagram post, mentioning how she worked two jobs before Patrick Mahomes was recruited.
Quite recently, Patrick Mahomes and his brother, Jackson Mahomes, bought their mother a brand new mansion in Texas as their gift to her. Their childhood home has been put up for sale. Randi Martin also shared an inside tour of her home with her Instagram fans and followers.
