Patrick Mahomes is not the best quarterback in the National Football League right now, according to NFL analyst Sam Monson. In a recent episode of his podcast, which he co-hosts with Steve Palazzolo, Monson argued that Mahomes’ spot in the QB list has been taken over by Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Josh Allen.
Mahomes is easily believed to be one of the greatest footballers of all time in the NFL, with some even saying that he is the GOAT and not retired legend Tom Brady. Mahomes has played with the Kansas City Chiefs throughout his entire career and has won three Super Bowls for the team as of now. Of course, his Super Bowl run has not ended, and the quarterback can be expected to add more rings to his growing collection in the upcoming seasons.
“I believe the best quarterback right now is Josh Allen. I think he’s become the guy. For years, it was Patrick Mahomes. Obviously, you know Brady, that generation, once they went, Mahomes took over. The start of Mahomes’ career was absolutely mind-blowing. The last couple of years, though, he’s not been that guy. Sam Monson’s words on Patrick Mahomes are pretty true, with numerous other NFL analysts echoing the same thing. Mahomes has lost the fire in his belly, which skyrocketed his NFL career as soon as he joined the Chiefs. In the last football season alone, Mahomes’ stats were not all that great, especially when compared to his previous seasons.
Patrick Mahomes Opens Up On Being A Girl-Dad
Patrick Mahomes is reportedly pretty happy that he had a daughter first, rather than a son like he originally wanted. According to a post that is going viral, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback admitted to wanting a boy first. However, after being a girl-dad to Sterling Skye since 2021, and Golden Raye, who was born earlier this year, Mahomes seems to have changed his mind.
“Growing up I wanted to have a boy 1st, then I had a girl & it’s like God knew exactly what to do with me. Helped me mature as a man…” Patrick Mahomes revealed in the post.
Patrick Mahomes also has a son, Patrick Bronze Mahomes Jr. III. When his wife, Brittany Mahomes was recently asked if there would be a baby no. 4, she admitted to not wanting to expand the family right now, which the QB also seemed to echo in his previous conversations with reporters.
