Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, appeared on the ‘Up & Adams’ show with Kay Adams and spilled plenty of tea about his football performance and expectations for the 2025 NFL season. Among the various juicy topics discussed was Mahomes’ famous rivalry with Las Vegas Raiders defensive end, Maxx Crosby.
Mahomes and Crosby have often been portrayed as strong rivals by the media, especially because of the latter’s impressive performance against the KC Chiefs’ legendary player. The quarterback has also often publicly announced his strong admiration for the defensive end and reiterated the same in his latest appearance on ‘Up & Adams’.
“I have so much respect for all those guys in the league that are about their craft. They’re about being better and better. And like he said, like we’re going to compete. We know when we step in that football field, we’re going up against each other. It’s the Raiders, it’s the chiefs, it’s two of the greatest in the league going at each other snap every snap, and then continuing to do it twice a year. And so there’s so much healthy respect. But when we get on that football field, it’s going to be trash talk, it’s going to be going out there, and he’s going to get to me. I’ll be trying to make big plays happen.” Patrick Mahomes said of Maxx Crosby in his most recent appearance on the ‘Up & Adams’ show.
Patrick Mahomes is expected to strongly lead Kansas City’s offense in the upcoming NFL season. The quarterback and his team were adamant of scoring a three-peat in the previous season, but their dreams were dashed when the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX.
Patrick Mahomes’ Physique Trolled By Kevin Kietzman
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes was recently trolled by Kevin Kietzman, Kansas City radio host, for his dad-bod physique. In recent pictures, it is clear that Mahomes definitely does not have a six-pack. However, the quarterback is definitely fit and ready to perform for the Chiefs and undergoes plenty of training for the same.
According to Kietzman, Mahomes’ is an “embarrassment” and does not have the necessary discipline. For these comments, Kietzman was condemned by NFL fans online, including Mahomes’ personal trainer, Bobby Stroupe. Stroupe clapped back labeling Kietzman as an attention-seeker and remarked that it is definitely “not a look, it’s performance”. Stroupe also challenged Kietzman to find when Mahomes had “appeared to be tired in a game”.
