Patrick Mahomes, starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, is no stranger to injuries being in a contact sport like football. While injuries are fairly common among athletes, it is also common knowledge that one injury can put an end to a player’s entire NFL career. Recently, the quarterback’s mother, Randi Mahomes, shared a video on her Instagram where she discussed her fears of her eldest son getting injured on the field.

Randi Mahomes is perhaps one of the biggest fighting forces which shaped Patrick Mahomes’ entire career. Randi took an active interest in Patrick Mahomes as a sports parent and even now continues to cheer him on at his games.
“It is a fear that I have. I don’t normally like to speak about it, but at the same time, I keep thinking it’s gonna get easier to watch. And we had injuries. And so it’s something that I always tell them to like focus on your body, listen to your body. Listen to your coaches and the doctors. Also we all know that football is a contact sport, and it’s something that I’ve accepted. Every player’s team when it comes to injuries, anyone on any team gets even a little bit hurt. I lose my breath for a moment. And I’m praying for each and every one of them.” Randi Mahomes spoke about her son, Patrick Mahomes, in a recent video on Instagram.
Patrick Mahomes has definitely been fortunate to not suffer any career-ending injuries till date. However, Randi Mahomes’ fears are still not quieted as the quarterback continues to be a power-house of talent for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs, with Mahomes, will soon kick off their 2025 NFL campaign with a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1.

Patrick Mahomes Ranked Most Annoying QB By Maxx Crosby
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes found himself ranked no.1 of a very peculiar list by none other than Las Vegas Raiders defensive end, Maxx Crosby. Crosby was recently asked in a brief interview to rank the most annoying quarterbacks to play against and the talented DE did not hold back.

Crosby gave the first spot of the list to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, citing their incredible rivalry as the main reason for this. Los Angeles Chargers quarterback, Justin Herbert, was ranked second in the list, with Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos placed at third.
