Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, is all geared up for the 2025 NFL draft, which will kick off in a few hours. Randi Mahomes will not just be another guest at the adrenaline-filled draft, but will also host a QB challenge program for sports parents and their children. To announce her arrival in Green Bay, Mrs. Mahomes shared a picture on her Instagram, much to the delight of her fans.
For hardcore NFL fans, the upcoming draft marks the start of the sporting season. This year’s draft will show off numerous top prospects, including Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders from the Colorado Buffaloes, Ashton Jeanty from Boise State and Jalon Walker from Georgia.

Randi Mahomes has continued to contribute to sports after giving birth and raising a competent athlete like her son, Patrick Mahomes, who now plays as a starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. Recently, Randi Mahomes announced her newest venture, the ‘Sports Parent Academy’, where she hopes to touch the lives of many sporting families.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes will be training with the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs team in preparation for the upcoming NFL season. In the 2024 NFL season, the Chiefs finished at the top of the AFC West and managed to make it to the Super Bowl. However, the team eventually lost to the Philadelphia Eagles with a final 40-22 score.
Patrick Mahomes Cuts Off ‘Lucky Hair’ To Start Fresh
On another note, Patrick Mahomes is letting go of whatever has been controlling him in a bid to start afresh in the upcoming NFL season. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has decided to do away with his signature Mohawk hairstyle which he has worn for the last couple of seasons. Instead of the Mohawk, Mahomes has decided to go with much shorter locks.
In speaking to FOX News, Patrick Mahomes stated that he kept the Mohawk since he kept winning games. However, after the recent Super Bowl loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, Mahomes apparently felt that it was time for a change, and decided to change up his hairdo.
Patrick Mahomes has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs since 2017 after the team selected him as the tenth pick in the very first round of the NFL draft. Before the league, the quarterback played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
