“Just Explaining To Him How The Globe Works”: Patrick Mahomes Drops Hilarious Taylor Swift Dig On Travis Kelce Before Chiefs-Chargers Showdown

Patrick Mahomes, starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently spoke to reporters about the Week 1 game in Brazil. Being his cheeky self, Mahomes could not resist the opportunity to troll some of his teammates, including tight end Travis Kelce, about their poor geography knowledge.

Mahomes remarked that perhaps the most difficult thing when it came to preparing for the face-off in Brazil was actually educating the players about how far Brazil actually was when compared to the US. The starting quarterback also took a shot at Kelce, joking that he had to take a geography class for the tight end despite him having traveled there last year with his now-fiancee, Taylor Swift.

“The trainers and coaches have really done the research, and they understand what we need to do. So now it’s just going down there and playing football. And I think more than anything, it was just explaining to some guys how far the trip was. Some guys didn’t understand how far the travel was. Travis, even though he was just down there like last year. It’s just explaining to him how the globe works.” Patrick Mahomes joked about Travis Kelce in a recent conversation with reporters.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce do share an incredible bond with each other, bond on and off the field. The two teammates are also business partners with their steakhouse in Kansas City. The restaurant is scheduled to open later this month on the day that Mahomes turns 30.

Patrick Mahomes Celebrates Wife’s 30th Birthday

Patrick Mahomes was a busy man over the weekend as he celebrated his wife, Brittany Mahomes’ 30th birthday. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback shared several pictures of Brittany with their three children in a set of family portraits in honor of her birthday.

Brittany Mahomes was also fortunate enough to have her close friends throw a surprise celebration for her in Nashville. Mrs. Mahomes can be seen getting down the steps of a private jet decorated with pink, orange and purple balloons. The birthday dinner in Nashville also had Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylor Swift.

Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, also took the opportunity to wish her daughter-in-law for her birthday. Randi posted a number of pictures of Brittany with her grandchildren, including an adorable photo with Patrick Mahomes at one of his high school football games.
