Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs’ starting quarterback, recently received some bad news this week as EA’s Madden 26 rated him 95 OVR. Mahomes definitely did not have a great season last time out and his numbers were definitely not enough to impress Madden. However, Mahomes is all set to use this embarrassment to do better in the 2025 NFL season.
Mahomes’ personal trainer, Bobby Stroupe, shared a picture on his X account on Tuesday that showed quarterback Patrick Mahomes can be seen working out in his facility. Stroupe also added a comment with the tweet, essentially mocking Mahomes’ Madden rating. It looks like Stroupe, who has been working with Mahomes for quite a few years now, is using his poor Madden rating as a stepping stone to a stronger comeback in the upcoming football season.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were both disappointed after the previous NFL season. The Chiefs were originally aiming for a three-peat to become the first team in the history of the National Football League to do so. However, their lofty dreams were dashed by the Philadelphia Eagles who squashed them in Super Bowl LIX. Mahomes already remarked that he expects to do way better in the upcoming football season.

In other news, Patrick Mahomes recently made the dreams of a young Make-A-Wish fan come true after the little kid, named Kody, asked him a touching question. Kody asked Mahomes, “If I wanted to end up where you are, what goals should I set?”
“I think the best goal that I always set is just being great at everything, not just football, not baseball. I competed at school. I wanted to make straight A’s so I could beat other people in that. There was being with my family, being the best brother that I could be. So whatever you do, try to be the best at that, and I think that pushes you to be the best at football and being where I am today.” Patrick Mahomes responded to Kody.
Patrick Mahomes has definitely followed his advice to Kody to a perfect ‘ten’. Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks out there in the NFL as of now and has already won more Super Bowl rings in his career than most veterans and is expected to add more jewelry to his collection.
