Patrick Mahomes’ father, Pat Mahomes Sr., recently got a court pass in order to travel out of Texas to attend a charity golf event where the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback will be playing. Pat Mahomes Sr. is currently on probation for a DWI case from last year and is not allowed to travel out of the state unless he asks for prior permission to do so.

While Patrick Mahomes has made it as a legendary footballer, his father, Pat Mahomes Sr. played baseball professionally. The senior Mahomes played in the MLB from 1992 all the way until 2003 for multiple teams. The retired pitcher played the longest with his first team, the Minnesota Twins.

Pat Mahomes Sr. and his wife, Randi Martin, were married for several years before getting divorced in 2006. The divorced couple has two children together, Patrick Mahomes and Jackson Mahomes. Even after they split up as a result of their divorce, Pat Mahomes Sr. and his ex-wife are pretty amicable with each other.

While his father is finding it difficult to simply travel out of Texas to support his son, Patrick Mahomes and Jackson Mahomes seem more attached to their mom, Randi Martin. A couple of months ago, the two sons bought their mom a brand new mansion in Texas.

Currently, Patrick Mahomes is gearing up for the next NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he is a quarterback. At just 29 years of age, Mahomes is already considered to be one of the finest quarterbacks out there. Until now, Mahomes has won three Super Bowls. In the previous NFL season, Mahomes and the Chiefs were aiming for a three-peat but this dream soon withered away when the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl trophy in February.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs will be locking horns with the Los Angeles Chargers for the first game of their next NFL season. The two teams will be clashing at the Corinthians Arena and both of them will be eager to win the matchup and start off their regular season on a positive note.

When compared to the Chiefs, the Chargers did not do too well in the previous NFL season. The Chargers finished one spot below the Chiefs in the AFC West, winning 11 games in total. The Chargers made it to the Wild Card round to take on the Houston Texans, but lost the game 32-12.
