Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes recently opened up about his team’s plans and outlook for the coming season, as they aim to bounce back from a failed three-peat during the last Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In an interview on the “Up and Adams Show,” Patrick Mahomes talked about the depth of the Kansas City Chiefs’ receiver room and how he thinks the team missed out on the prime years of one of their former member, Tyreek Hill.
“I mean, I think it is going to be the deepest,” Mahomes said. “I mean, it’s hard to always say, ‘You had Tyreek and Travis Kelce Hall of Famers in the prime of their careers.’ It’s hard to always say that it could be deeper than that, but at the same time, it’s not the depth.”
Sounds like Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady have developed quite the relationship this offseason…

Tyreek Hill was drafted by the Chiefs in 2016 and was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2022.

Still, Mahomes has faith in their front office when it comes to putting together a competitive team.
“I mean, it’s going to be hard to make cuts because we have so many great receivers that we could be eight or nine deep. You want competition, and we have that.”
Mahomes, in particular, praised Brett Veach and Coach Reed for doing “a great job of bringing guys in.”
Patrick Mahomes Revealed Receiving Private Tips From Tom Brady
In a recent interview at the “Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams,” Patrick Mahomes opened up about his growing relationship with the NFL quarterback legend and how Tom Brady has always been willing to share advice with him. He called him “a good dude,” and expressed that he is willing to take any advice that Brady would offer him.

Mahomes also highlighted how Brady has been giving him tips in private that he chose to keep private, too.
“I’ve got to keep the secrets, you know?” said Mahomes, “But he always talks about being yourself. He thinks that, which I truly believe, too, is that guys can spot when you’re not authentic and you’re not putting in the work. That’s something that he did every single day. That’s why guys respected him so much.”

Mahomes also added that that was the reason why he always aims to give everything he’s got in every game he plays.
Patrick Mahomes has been playing in the NFL for eight seasons, and he has spent all of them playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.
