Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs’ starting quarterback, recently received his AFC Championship ring along with the rest of the team. The talented quarterback was asked where he would store his precious rings, including his Super Bowl rings and his AFC Championship rings.
Mahomes revealed that he will be storing some rings in his safe and arranging the others on top of the safe. However, he did not exactly mention which of the rings he would place inside his safe and which he would keep on top.
“I’ll put it this way, I put some in my safe, I put the other ones on top of my safe,” Patrick Mahomes said to press reporters about the storage specifications for his Super Bowl rings and his AFC Championship rings.
Patrick Mahomes is currently in training for his upcoming season with the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes and his team were aiming for a three-peat in the previous season. Unfortunately, the Chiefs ended up losing to the Eagles this February, with an abysmal 40-22. The Chiefs are looking for redemption, and Mahomes himself will want to add another ring to his collection.

Not only Patrick Mahomes, but tight end Travis Kelce was also asked about his AFC Championship ring. However, Kelce did not seem too proud about his AFC rings and instead seemed excited to win another Super Bowl with the team, especially after shamefully performing in the previous one.
Patrick Mahomes Wants Travis Kelce To Play Like Himself In 2025 Season
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes asked about his expectations for tight end Travis Kelce in the upcoming football season. Kelce’s performance in the previous NFL season was, in a word, ‘terrible,’ and the tight end and everyone else know it as well.

After the Super Bowl disaster, Kelce blamed the media for his terrible performance in the previous football season, highlighting the scrutiny on his relationship with pop singer Taylor Swift as the reason for his abysmal stats.

Patrick Mahomes said that he hopes that “Travis is Travis” for the next football season. Mahomes and Kelce have built a strong strategic partnership on the field and are also known to be pretty chummy with each other off the field. Kelce has been reported to be working extremely hard in the training camps in preparation for the next season, even losing 25 lbs. for the same.
