Longtime NFL punter Pat McAfee has made a name for himself after his playing days. The Pat McAfee Show has turned into one of the most watched shows on ESPN. However, he recently made a big career change that shocked a lot of fans.
Breaking: Pat McAfee Makes Huge Career Change (Report)

It’s been nearly a month since Pat McAfee last appeared on WWE programming, so the former Colts punter finally addressed it on Monday:
Speaking directly to his audience, McAfee explained why he’s taken an extended break from wrestling coverage and revealed that he’d also be missing this week’s episode of RAW.
“Monday Night RAW is on tonight. I will not be commentating,” McAfee said. “Continuing to just kind of catch up on life as a whole. Post-Money in the Bank, Pre-Night of Championsfeels like a good time. I was getting pretty exhausted there. So shoutout to everybody at the WWE looking out for me, too. Very, very thankful.”
McAfee definitely wears a lot of hats these days between his own program, working with the WWE and his other responsibilities at ESPN.
While some of his viewers didn’t deem that an acceptable response for his absence, the ex-NFL All-Pro wasn’t afraid to clap back a bit on social media.

“‘I was getting pretty exhausted.. I produce/host a 5 day a week show, have been on the go every week since Dublin last year before College Football.. plus I run my growing company with 14 employees and have a 2 year old daughter,'” McAfee posted.
“‘YOU’RE NOT EXHAUSTED ENOUGH BITCH.. NEED YA TO TAKE A DIRT NAP’ ~ The IWC (Internet Wrestling Community)… Thank you all so much. Excited for the future of my life.”
It’s hard to burn the candlestick at both ends the way McAfee has without at least a little bit of fatigue setting in. We’re sure whenever he chooses to return to the WWE he’ll be welcomed back with open arms.
