The Green Bay Packers didn’t get off to the start they wanted this season. A hard fought season opener in Brazil ended in a 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. To make matters worse, Jordan Love went down with an MCL injury with just seconds left to go in the game.
However, on Tuesday Green Bay saw one of their former players take a political approach.
Former Packers Star Rips Apart Trump-Harris Presidential Debate (Report)
Former Green Bay starting safety Adrian Amos took to social media to react to Tuesday night’s presidential debate:
This presidential race and past couple years make the people who hate on Obama miss him. Just by the way he carried himself
When teams settled on their initial 53-man rosters, Jaguars safety Adrian Amos, a key contributor to the Green Bay Packers from 2019 through 2022, was among the most surprising cuts.
After spending the 2023 season split between Houston and the New York Jets, the 31-year-old signed with the Jaguars this offseason. Amos remains a free agent as of now.
Over the course of his nine-season NFL career, Amos has started 125 games. In addition to 664 tackles, he has 10 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles to his credit.
