The Green Bay Packers are learning of some troubling news regarding one of the former players.  After being spit on, a fight broke out in the middle of the street.

Apparently, it was former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Kenny Peterson who beat someone up in the middle of the street:

Peterson, who won a national title with Ohio State, was a big part of the Buckeyes’ defensive line and was instrumental in stopping other teams’ running game. So it’s safe to assume he’s a formidable human whom you should perhaps not spit on.

Still, a motorist chose to find out the hard way.

The video below shows Peterson throwing a flurry of punches at another male through a car window. It’s said that the guy had spit on the former college star right before the recording started.

    Don’t fight former NFL players!

The caption suggests that Kenny was not the one who went looking for a fight, but took matters into his own hands after being disrespected. While he got punched too, he landed the most blows by far, and we have to assume his were way more damaging.

Kenny Peterson was a star at Ohio State after a standout career at McKinley High School. He helped the Buckeyes win the BCS National Championship in 2002 while receiving Second-Team All-Big Ten honors as a senior.

He was drafted by the Packers in the third round in 2003 and played for the team until 2005, joining the Denver Broncos in 2006. The former Buckeye signed a three-year deal extension with Denver in 2009 but was released the following year.

He ended his NFL career with totals of 118 tackles, eight sacks, and four forced fumbles.

Peterson reportedly launched a real estate firm after retiring and also serves as a mentor to young athletes, as he’s deeply involved in community service.
