The Green Bay Packers know that their 2025 season will be watched closely. Two seasons in a row Green Bay has not only made the playoffs, but improved their win total from 9 to 11. On top of that, both teams Green Bay lost to went on to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
This season, however, Green Bay hopes to be that team.
Breaking: Packers Add Massive Weapon For Jordan Love At Practice (Watch)

Injuries forced both Aaron Banks, the Packers’ starting left guard, and Savion Williams, the Packers’ rookie wide receiver, to miss the first day of practice during training camp. However, they were both back today:
Banks, the Packers‘ big free-agent signing along the offensive line, injured his back midway through Thursday’s practice and didn’t participate on Friday. Williams, a third-round pick out of TCU, suffered a concussion and also missed Friday’s practice.
Coach Matt LaFleur called Banks “day to day” when asked Friday, and the left guard’s return on Sunday suggests the injury was indeed minor. Williams entered the league’s concussion protocol and might still need to pass through a few steps before fully practicing again.
Per Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com, Banks went through walkthrough and individual periods but was not on the field for team periods.

The Packers also returned rookie running back Amar Johnson, who began training camp on the non-football injury list with a hamstring injury. He is practicing on Sunday alongside new addition Israel Abanikanda, a running back who was claimed off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.
One player still out on Sunday is Elgton Jenkins, who is missing his fourth straight practice to open training camp with a back injury. Quay Walker is also missing another practice while attempting to come back from offseason ankle surgery.
