The Green Bay Packers know that 2025 will be big for the future of their organization.  After making the playoffs in back-to-back years, it is time for the team to show they are ready to compete for a Super Bowl.

The 2025 NFL Draft saw Green Bay add two big time wide receivers in the first three rounds, however, there could be another big weapon on the way.

The Packers have limited depth behind Josh Jacobs, and analysts are starting to think they would be the best fit for Nick Chubb:

“Chubb is still only 29 and could have another solid year or two left. … Josh Jacobs would still be the unquestioned starter,” Xie wrote. “However, Jacobs played the 10th-highest share of his team’s running back snaps (62%), so the Packers could improve their depth.”

Of course, over the past two seasons, Chubb has suffered several injuries, limiting him to just 10 total appearances. He has accumulated 502 yards and three touchdowns on 130 attempts.

However, in his last full season healthy in 2022, he proved to be one of the best running backs in the NFL, earning his fourth Pro Bowl appearance after rushing 302 times for 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Chubb could immediately come in and challenge the Packers’ second-leading rusher from 2024, Emanuel Wilson, who accumulated 502 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games.

If the Packers were interested in bringing him in, it would be considered an extremely low-risk signing, as Spotrac predicts Chubb’s market value will earn him a one-year, $3.3 million contract.
