The Green Bay Packers’ season opener was one to forget. While both sides of the ball showed there is reason to be optimistic, there was just as many areas of concern. Then, with five seconds left, their franchise quarterback went down with a brutal looking knee injury.
While the initial concern was worst case scenario, that won’t be the case.
Breaking: Packers Get Exact Return Time Frame For Jordan Love
According to Tom Pelissero of The NFL Network:
Packers QB Jordan Love’s initial timetable for return is in the 3-6 week range, per sources.
And there’s some early optimism he could return sooner than later, pending a second opinion.
Next three opponents: Colts at home, at Titans, Vikings at home.
It is often said that teams who can at least tread water while they are without their franchise quarterback, can salvage their season.
Green Bay will look to try to go at least 1-2 in three games without Love. 2-1 or even 3-0 is feasible if the defense settles in and Malik Willis catches fire much just Josh Dobbs did last season.
Here are Green Bay’s next six games:
- vs Colts
- @ Titans
- vs Vikings
- @ Rams
- vs Cardinals
- Vs Texans
