The Green Bay Packers are going into the 2025-26 season with expectations of competing for a Super Bowl.  After making the playoffs in back to back seasons, Green Bay went out and added pieces they think will get them over the hump.

However, the team had a change to announce just days before rookies reported to training camp.

According to Robin Adams of Wisconsin Sports Heroics:

Just like all other teams, the Packers have some intriguing battles to watch out for in the training camp. The starting quarterback position is set, with Jordan Love entering his fifth season in the pros, but some roles appear to be up for grabs.

Among them is the left tackle starting spot that is expected to be contested by Rasheed Walker and Jordan Morgan. Safeties Evan Williams and Javon Bullard are also names to watch out for, as well as running backs Emanuel Wilson and MarShawn Lloyd for the chief backup running back assignment.

Less than a week before Green Bay’s training camp kicks off, the team made an announcement about some changes.

    Via the Packers’ official website:

“The public practices for a few dates of training camp have been adjusted: July 29 and August 1 have been added as public practices while there will not be a practice on July 30. All other public practice dates remain the same at this time. All public training-camp practices at Ray Nitschke Field are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. (times are subject to change).”

Once training camp is over, the Packers will turn their attention to the NFL preseason. They will face off against the New York Jets in Week 1 of the preseason, the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3.
