The Green Bay Packers and the rest of the football community is mourning the loss of one of their own. An ATV accident claimed the life of one person and left a former NFL wide receiver in critical condition.

Sadly, the girlfriend of a former Green Bay Packers wide receiver was seriously injured in an ATV accident and has now passed away:
Ex-Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Julian Fleming, who transferred to Penn State for his final collegiate season, was “seriously injured” in an ATV accident in Pennsylvania on Friday night. He and his 23-year-old girlfriend were reportedly riding an ATV when they got into an accident due to a collision with some deer. Neither Fleming nor his girlfriend were reportedly wearing safety equipment.
While Fleming was rushed to the hospital, his girlfriend was pronounced dead on the scene.
His girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, died on the scene.
“This crash occurred on Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township, Bradford County. An ATV was traveling northbound on Painter Lick Lane when it collided with a deer that had jumped out in the roadway. Neither of the occupants were wearing safety equipment. The operator of the ATV sustained serious injuries and was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital,” the police report stated.
“The passenger sustained extensive injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A recently deceased deer was located on scene consistent with damage observed on the ATV. Assisted on scene by Guthrie EMS, Troy Fire Department and the Pennsylvania State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialists. This crash is under further investigation at this time.”
247Sports reported that Fleming has since been released from the hospital.
The former five-star recruit totaled 79 catches for 963 yards and seven touchdowns in four seasons at Ohio State. He had 34 receptions for 533 yards and six scores as a junior.
Fleming finished his career at Penn State, with 14 catches for 176 yards and one score with the Nittany Lions.
Injuries to his hips and back forced Julian Fleming, an undrafted free agent signed by the Green Bay Packers last month, to fail his physical. Mulitple other teams have shown interest in the 24-year-old.vvvvv
