College football season is right around the corner and Ducks fans are ready for kickoff. Oregon was ranked number 11 on the AP Top 25 Preseason Poll. Coach Lanning’s team begins their campaign with national attention.
What Does Oregon Have to Prove?
The Ducks had a successful 2021 campaign and finished with a 10-4 record. This season Oregon will have to show they can win and build on a strong 2021 season. In order to succeed, Oregon will have to play good defense and compete with their Pac-12 foes. Additionally, Oregon will need good quarterback play from whoever’s under center. Former quarterback Anthony Brown recorded posted 2,989 passing yards, threw 19 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
How can Fans feel about the ranking?
Fans can feel good about the ranking because it means Oregon is a respected college football team. The ranking also means Oregon is headed in the right direction. Fans can get pumped for a new season full of opportunities. Ducks fans should get ready for an exciting, fun, and electric football season.
