The Oregon Ducks are the #1 team in the college football landscape. Throughout the course of each college football season, the team always looks at potential high school prospects to join the football program in years to come.

One of the prospects that is looking at the Oregon Ducks is defensive end Zion Elee. He currently attends Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Elee is the 15th-ranked prospect in the ESPN Top 300 for the class of 2026.
Zion Elee Says the Oregon Ducks Is His Front Runner For 2026

On Tuesday, Elee talked to Josh Newburg of on3sports.com. Zion Elee said:
“I would say Oregon is my leader.”
This is very interesting because the Maryland Terrapins are also interested in him. Going to Maryland would be a much shorter trip for him than flying out to Eugene, Oregon. However, the Ducks are a much better college football program than the Terrapins.

He is a 4-star recruit, according to ESPN.com. Elee is 6’4″ and weighs 220 lbs. There have been some good defensive linemen in the past who have played with the Oregon Ducks. Some of those names are DeForest Buckner and Kayvon Thibodeaux.
If Zion Elee were to commit to Oregon over Maryland, this would be a very good decision for him. There are other schools that have also offered him.
