This past weekend, Ohio State traveled to Michigan State and beat the Spartans 38-7. Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard had a good day, throwing for 244 yards and two touchdowns.
Howard has been impressive through his first four Ohio State games but has yet to be tested. Over the next few weeks, he will face Iowa, Oregon, and Penn State.
Ohio State’s biggest rival, Michigan, was also supposed to be one of the big competitive teams they would play this season. Still, so far through the first five weeks of the season, Michigan doesn’t look like a Top 20 team in the country, but that didn’t stop Howard from taking a shot at the entire state.
Will Howard Makes Fun Of The State Of Michigan
During a post-game interview with Howard on Saturday, he stated,” I can’t wait to get out of this state.” The Ohio State quarterback is referring to the state of Michigan. Even though Michigan State isn’t a top rival of the Buckeyes, the team from Ann Abor is, and any time an Ohio State player steps into that state, they want to throw up.

Howard wasn’t taking any shots at Michigan State, and Ohio State fans and players greatly respect the Spartans and their program.
Ohio State won’t play Michigan for another two months, but the Buckeye players seem ready to roll, which is great to hear after they dropped three straight games to them.
