Ohio State Fans Were Happy To See Joe Biden End His Presidential Campaign Because He Was Maybe The Reason Why They Couldn’t Be Their Biggest Rival Michigan

Ohio State fans might be able to breathe now that the man who has been keeping them from beating Michigan has stepped down.

Ohio State Hasn’t Beat Michigan Since 2019

In January 2021, Joe Biden was sworn in as president of the United States. Ohio State was on an eight-game winning streak against Michigan, but that would all quickly change in November of that year because the Buckeyes would go up to Ann Arbor and get smoked by the Wolverines, and then in 2022, Michigan would go to Ohio State and beat them again and in 2023 do the same thing at home making it three straight wins for the program.  To make things worse, Michigan won the national championship, possibly due to Joe Biden being the president.

Buckeye Fans Point Out Their Team Never Beat Michigan While Biden Was President

On Sunday, Ohio State fans took to social media after Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. They stated that the Michigan Football Reign is officially over and that Michigan had been 0-8 against Ohio State and in bowl games when Donald Trump was elected president in November 2016.

In reality, Biden’s being president has nothing to do with Ohio State’s inability to beat Michigan. The Wolverines were the better team for all three years and had the better head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Even though Biden will not be the president next year, he will still be in office if he doesn’t step down when the Buckeyes play the Wolverines at the end of November. America will know who the new president will be by the time that game is played, but they won’t take over until January, so there is a chance Ohio State can beat Michigan in the Biden Era.

It’s always neat to see fans come up with funny reasons why their team can’t win, and Biden being president during the era when the Buckeyes never beat Michigan is a pretty good one.
