Michigan State is 3-1 on the year and the Spartans are 1-0 in BIG10 Conference play. They defeated the Maryland Terrapins on the road 27-24 earlier this month.
Ohio State Buckeyes are Massive Favorites On the Road Against the Michigan State Spartans

Fanduel Sportsbook released their odds for the Buckeyes and the Spartans matchup on Saturday night. Ohio State is favored by 24.5 points against Michigan State. The Ohio State Buckeyes odds to cover the spread is at -110 and the odds for the Spartans to cover the spread is at also -110 odds.
This feels like a total trap game for the Buckeyes in Week 5 of the college football season. If Ohio State wants to win the BIG10 Conference and compete for a national title, this is the kind of game the Buckeyes can’t afford to lose. It appears as if the Spartans might turn the corner at some point, but Michigan State may not have a chance in this one.

Quarterback Will Howard has completed 68.9% of his passes for 795 yards, six touchdowns and one interception. Howard has been very good to start the season for the Buckeyes.
Freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is one of the best freshman players in the entire country. There is no doubt that Smith will make an impact against Michigan State. Smith so far this season has caught 14 passes for 281 yards receiving and four touchdowns, along with averaging 20.1 yards per catch.
The running back tandem of Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson has been effective for the Buckeyes. Ohio State will look to run the football effectively. Head coach Ryan Day will need to have his players focused on a game they should win going away on the road.
