Ohio State Buckeyes: Michigan”s Sign Stealer Connor Stalions Said I’m Going To Do Everthing In My Power To Figure Out What Ohio States’ Signals Mean

Ohio State and Michigan can’t seem to get enough of each other. Last season, news broke in the college football world that Michigan was illegally recording opposing teams’ sidelines and stealing teams’ signs.

The man in charge of all of it was Michigan staffer Connor Stalions, and on Monday, Netflix released a documentary titled Untold Sign Stealer that goes through how Stalions scouts opposing teams’ signals.

The documentary never said that Stalions did anything wrong, and Stalions never admitted that he stole the signs. However, he did say he stole them by watching them on a TV broadcast and watching them in person without technology, which is legal.

Stalions has been a die-hard Michigan fan since he was a little kid, and in the documentary, he states that he always wanted to be the head coach of the program one day.

The soon-to-be Michigan staffer first joined the staff as a student coach at Navy in 2014, and his job was to try to pick up on the opposing team’s signals legally.

Stalions was lucky because in the first game he was able to coach for Navy, they faced Ohio State, whom he had hated his entire life. He couldn’t wait to figure out their signals.

In the documentary, Stalions stated right before he made his coaching debut against Ohio State while at Navy, ” I’m going to do everything in my power to figure out what Ohio State’s signals mean.

Before Stalions was a coach at Michigan, he tried to figure out Ohio State’s signals, and he did a pretty good job at it. He is one of the reasons the Buckeyes haven’t beaten the Wolverines since 2019.

It’s crazy to think that Stalions first opponent as coach was against the team he hated the most, and almost ten years later, he would play a role in stopping them from beating up on Michigan every single year.

Now that Stalions, Jim Harbaugh, and many other Michigan coaches and players are no longer at the school, it’s time for Ryan Day and Ohio State to end their three-game losing streak against them this November.

If the Buckeyes fall again to the Wolverines this season, you can bet that the biggest Ohio State hater in the world, Stalions, will be laughing from afar and saying that having their signals or not, you still can’t beat the Wolverines.
