Michigan is about to take the field in less than two hours to face off with third-ranked Texas, but Wolverine fans can’t seem to get Ohio State off their mind.
Ohio State and Michigan have one of the best rivalries in college football, and when a Buckeye comes into their home, they don’t give them a warm welcome.
Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer returned to Ann Abor on Saturday for Big Noon Kickoff on Fox, and Michigan fans were not feeling the former Buckeye head coach.
Michigan Fans Boo Former Ohio State’s Head Coach
Big Noon Kickoff is broadcasting live from Ann Abor right before the big game between Texas and Michigan, and Urban Meyer is an analyst on the set.
Michigan fans are not too thrilled with the former Ohio State head coach because Meyer went 7-0 against the Wolverines as the head coach of the Buckeyes.
Wolverine fans didn’t give Meyer a warm welcome when he was announced to the crowd, and they gave him many boos taunting the 60-year-old former head coach.
Meyer responds to them with an O-H-I-O, which is how Ohio State fans interact with each other.

Meyer also had fun with Michigan fans wearing a Beat Michigan t-shirt on Friday, and the M had an X through it.

Meyer stood in the way of Michigan’s success for a long time, but since he stepped down as Ohio State’s head coach at the end of 2018, Michigan has beaten the Buckeyes in the last three out of four meetings.
Wolverine fans shouldn’t be booing Meyer; they should be cheering for him because if he had never left Ohio State, Michigan would still not have won anything because former head coach Jim Harbaugh had no clue how to beat him.
It’s always interesting to see how the two schools interact when they see one of their rivals in public, and this time, Michigan was not having it with the former Buckeye coach.
