The Ohio State and Michigan rivalry is mostly hate, but once in a while, a Buckeye loves a Wolverine, and one former Buckeye is very happy with his new head coach.
When Michigan’s head coach, Jim Harbaugh, left to take the Los Angeles Chargers head coaching job this season, many wondered how the former Buckeyes players on the team would react to him.
Defensive end Joey Bosa is one of the biggest Buckeyes on the Chargers roster. The 29-year-old has shown nothing but love to his former rivals’ head coach.
During last season’s sign-stealing scandal, Harbaugh was Michigan’s head coach, and many current and former Ohio State players were not too happy with him.
Another former Buckeye who now plays for the Chargers, running back J.K. Dobbins, stated last week that he thinks all Michigan wins will be removed from 2021-2023 when the cheating occurred. However, he still loves his new head coach, Jim Harbaugh, and even tweeted about it last week.
Ohio State Players Love Jim Harbaugh
Right before the Chargers took on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Dobbins retweeted a video of his head coach, Jim Harbaugh, talking about how much he is impressed with Dobbins. The 25-year-old running back commented, “I love him, man. I’m glad he’s my coach.”

It’s neat to see the players and head coach put their college rivalry aside and really like each other. Dobbins and Harbaugh are competing for the same goal, trying to win a Super Bowl, and both of them getting along is a great way to achieve that.
The Chargers have started the season with a 2-0 record and look like one of the best teams in the NFL. This week, they have a matchup with another 2-0 football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, so Harbaugh is going to need Dobbins to run like crazy like he has done the past few games.
