The Ohio State Buckeyes are 4-0 to start the college football season. They will face the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend. Ohio State is the third-ranked team in the country.
Chip Kelly is the offensive coordinator of the Buckeyes under head coach Ryan Day. Kelly will face his former team, the Oregon Ducks on the road next weekend.
Ohio State Buckeyes Offensive Coordinator Chip Kelly Makes Funny Answer In Response To a Question
Kelly was the head coach of the UCLA Bruins before coming to the Buckeyes as the offensive coordinator. On Tuesday, Adam King of 10TV in Columbus, Ohio asked him what’s the difference so far in being a head coach compared to being an offensive coordinator:
“You can go to the bathroom between series.”
This is a funny response because it is true. Kelly is only worried about the offensive side of the football compared to the defensive side of the football. He is like the guy who only plays offense when playing the college football video game or Madden.
Fans Respond To His Answer
There was no doubt that Ohio State Buckeyes fans were going to laugh at his answer. Here is what some of them said about it:
Priceless

He could have gone to the bathroom during ucla too. He was worthless on that side of the ball anyway.

Add that to long list of Chipisms. Good 👀 Chip happy again. A little CK fact. At Oregon, he helped design the press room & made the seats lean/slant forward slightly because he hated press conferences & wanted to make them uncomfortable so they unconsciously wanted to leave.

Sounds like a challenge for @CoachJimKnowles…

These are some interesting responses from the fanbase. In all honesty, Chip Kelly has a very talented offense to work with this season. Will Howard is a very good quarterback, they have two elite running backs, and a wide receiver core that has one of the best freshmen in the country in Jeremiah Smith.
The offense will not be why Ohio State doesn’t win it all this season. The defense could let them down, like it has over the last couple of years also.
