The Ohio State Buckeyes won the National Title this year after being doubted when they lost to the Michigan Wolverines for the fourth straight season in a row. Ohio State fans at one point wanted head coach Ryan Day fired and Brian Hartline to be promoted to head coach.
Day silenced his doubters, but he lost some key coaches on the staff already this offseason. It will be interesting to see how the team replaces the key coaches this offseason. The Ohio State Buckeyes will be one of the favorites to win it all again next year.
Ohio State Buckeyes Wide Receivers Coach Brian Hartline Promoted To Offensive Coordinator
On Wednesday, it was reported that Buckeyes wide receiver coach Brian Hartline was promoted to offensive coordinator. This move comes after Chip Kelly left the offensive coordinator role with Ohio State to be the offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders next season with head coach Pete Carroll.
With Kelly leaving for the NFL, he will be missed, but Hartline was due for a promotion. He has been great with recruiting wide receivers to Ohio State. The Buckeyes have produced a lot of talented wide receivers over the last few seasons.

The Buckeyes will have a lot of talent back next season. Julian Sayin is in line to be the starting quarterback over freshman Tavien St. Clair. Brian Hartline will also be getting back Jeremiah Smith next season and other talented recruits coming into the program. Wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. is also going to be with the Buckeyes in the future as a member of the class of 2026.
Ohio State should have no issues lighting up the end zone next season. With this promotion for Hartline, he could also be in line to become a head coach one day in college football also.
