Which off-season additions will have the most impact on their new nfl team? That’s what we’re here to answer and in this article we head to the AFC West. The is gonna be one of if not the best division in the NFL. Every off-season these NFL teams cut and add players to build a championship team. Let’s dive into which newcomers will make the biggest impact.
Denver Broncos impact addition-Russell Wilson

Trading for Russell Wilson is by far the biggest move the Broncos have made since they acquired Peyton Manning before the 2012 season. Back then Denver had a great team and was just a quarterback away from playing for championships. Now they’re a different team but same scenario. All they were missing was a solid quarterback to compete, but they didn’t settle with solid, in Wilson they have a top elite quarterback. Wilson is able to beat you with his legs or throw dimes deep down field. This team just got great with one addition and I can’t wait to see this season play out.
Kansas City Chiefs impact addition- Juju Smith-Schuster

The most impactful addition to the Chiefs is Juju Smith-Schuster. Not only did they get him for a 1 year prove it deal bargain, but they got a highly motivated man who has played as slot and WR 1. Juju said in an interview he didn’t like what the Steelers had offered and he would rather ” go anywhere on a one year deal and ball”. I believe with Patrick mahomes throwing to him, Tyreek Hill not on the team, and other dangerous receivers like Mecole Hardeman and MVS he is gonna have a career defining type year. I look forward to watching this unfold.
Las Vegas Raiders impact addition – Davante Adams

It’s no secret that Davante Adams was gonna be the Raiders new impact player this season. I don’t think he will have as good of numbers as he did in Green bay, but he will be the top wide receiver on this offense. His targets will go down with other good receivers on the field with him, but he will definitely stay the elite Wr1 he has always been.
Las Angeles Chargers impact addition- J.C. Jackson

There will be some to disagree and put Khalil Mack here. I see why, Khalil Mack is a beast who will definitely make the front defense better. That wouldn’t be a bad pick but I pick J.C.Jackson because he is an elite corner who also will free up Asante Samuels to move inside to nickel. The versatility of Asante Samuels at nickel is game changing all because Jackson is a corner that can match up with any receiver in the league. This secondary will be one of the best in the league now because of Jacksons presence.
These are my off-season additions who will make the most impact picks. This is the only division to have all four teams in the top half of power rankings by Pro Football Focus. But that’s another article all together. I’m just saying this is the strongest division in the league. I wouldn’t be surprised if three of these teams get in the post season. Anyhow hope you enjoyed these picks and catch the next ones as we go to the NFC next. And in the meantime, here are some articles to check out.
