Odell Beckham Jr. recently met with retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady and shared the picture on his Instagram with words that hinted at regret in being unable to play with the legend. After being let go by the Miami Dolphins in the middle of the 2024 NFL season, Beckham is yet to be signed by an NFL team and remains a free agent.
Beckham Jr. started his NFL career with the New York Giants after being selected as the 12th pick in the first round of the 2014 draft. The wide receiver, since then, has played for several teams, including the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Rams, with whom he won the Super Bowl in 2021.
“If ‘could woulda shoulda’ was a picture…” Odell Beckham Jr. captioned the Instagram post, sharing a picture of himself with Tom Brady.
Before joining the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. played college football for the LSU Tigers and then joined the draft. In his very first season of the NFL with the Giants, the wide receiver managed to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year title. In the 2024 NFL season, Odell Beckham Jr. managed a total of nine receptions for 55 yards before being released by the Dolphins.
After releasing Odell Beckham Jr. in the middle of the previous NFL season, the Miami Dolphins finished second in the AFC East with eight wins and nine defeats. In their final game of the season, the Dolphins played against the New York Jets with a final score of 32-20.

Odell Beckham Jr. Never Wanted To Leave New York Giants
On another note, Odell Beckham Jr. lately revealed that he never actually wanted to leave the New York Giants. The entire NFL world was shaken when it was announced that the Giants would be trading the wide receiver to the Cleveland Browns despite recently signing a contract extension with the player.

During the CBS coverage of the UEFA Champions League final, Odell Beckham Jr. admitted this, while also remarking that there was plenty happening that led to him leaving the Giants. After playing for the Giants for several seasons, OBJ played for the Cleveland Browns and then for the Los Angeles Rams.

From there, he moved to the Ravens and then, most recently, with the Miami Dolphins, who let him go in the middle of the season last year. However, it is also true that the wide receiver complained multiple times about not being happy with the Giants during his time there.
