Speaking at the recent Fanatics Fest, Odell Beckham Jr. was interrupted by one fan from the audience shouting at him to get back to the Giants. In a quick response that caught everyone off guard, OBJ dropped a huge bomb that gave fans excitement.

As of now, Odell Beckham Jr. is an unrestricted free agent after he parted ways with the Miami Dolphins at the tail end of the 2024 season. Since his from the New York Giants in March 2019, Beckham’s gone through four different teams, which have been marred by inconsistent levels of productivity, several hard-luck injuries, while searching for yet another moment that could define him as a wide receiver.

Beckham, not long after leaving Big Blue, went to the Cleveland Browns in 2019. During his first season with the Browns, he had another temporary comeback: he had 74 receptions, 1,035 yards, and 4 touchdowns. In 2020, he only played 7 games, a ruptured ACL halfway through the season, and his knees were affected after that.  In 2021, he had an uneven seasonal debut and was released by Cleveland in October of that year.

Beckham then signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens in March 2023.  He recorded 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns, which was a good effort, but he never quite regained the explosive touchdown pace of his youth. He was tasked with supporting a receiver room that was in dire need of depth.  He pursued another chance when his Ravens contract expired, signing a one-year, $3 million contract with the Dolphins in the spring of 2024.

Odell Beckham Jr. is currently an unrestricted free agent. His most recent team affiliation remains the Dolphins, but as of mid-2025, he’s not under contract with any NFL franchise.

Odell Beckham Jr Reveals He Never Wanted to Leave Big Blue

In a recent fan video, someone asked Odell Beckham Jr. if her would want to stay with the Giants, or to have won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. His answer was simple, and something that touched the hearts of a lot of fans.

“I never wanted to leave,” he said. “I’d give up that ring to go back and win one there.”

Heartbreaking: Odell Beckham Jr. says that he would give up his Rams Super Bowl Ring if it meant he could go back and win a Super Bowl in New York.
