Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the top free agents left. After sitting out last year, Beckham Jr. is looking to bring his talents to another team. He has drawn a lot of interest but his asking price has scared some teams away. However, he has gotten an offer from at least one team. It was revealed today that Odell Beckham Jr. has an offer from the Baltimore Ravens.

Odell Beckham Jr. Has An Offer From The Baltimore Ravens

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Ravens have an offer sheet in. No details about the contract were given but it is likely in the ballpark of $15 million for one year as this is what it was reported Beckham Jr. was looking for. It makes sense that the Ravens are looking to add wide receiver depth. The current group doesn’t look much better than last year as they have only added Nelson Agholor in free agency. Bringing in Beckham Jr. would be a huge upgrade for the unit and give whoever the quarterback is another weapon.

Will He Be Any Good This Year?

There are two ways of looking at this. On one hand, you could argue that taking a year off of football is going to make the transition back into the game rough for Beckham Jr. He may fall flat as he gets back up to game speed. On the other hand, you could argue that a year off is beneficial as he did not have a year of hits and nagging injuries. This means he comes into the year fresh without a lot of miles on him in the past couple of seasons. It is an unknown but the potential talent makes him a great player to take a flyer on.

It makes sense that the Baltimore Ravens put in an offer for Odell Beckham Jr. He seems to be waiting to see if any other teams make a better offer or offer a better situation. The New York Jets are a team that has long been rumored especially with Aaron Rodgers joining the team. An offer sheet is in so we should know where he will play in the next week or so.
