The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are moving on in the college football playoffs. Their 23-10 win over the second ranked Georgia Bulldogs punched their ticket to the Orange Bowl. There, they’ll take on the fourth ranked Penn State Nittany Lions.
However, one of their players made a pretty interesting decision amid their playoff run.
“What Is He Doing?” Notre Dame Player Signs NIL Deal With Antonio Brown (Report)
The most intriguing contract of the NIL era has been landed by a Notre Dame player with Antonio Brown; and we’d like to hear what he’s getting:
Charles Du, a cornerback for the Fighting Irish and a walk-on from Beijing, China, went viral after the program decided to add names to the back of their players’ jerseys for their playoff participation.
Du’s jersey was very special in that his name was printed out in Mandarin to honor his family.

But Brown would take to his favorite platform to name the CB his “Ch**k of the Day.”
The move earned him some criticism from the New York Post’s Matt Ehalt, who accused him of spoiling Du’s big moment.
Here is a look at Du’s stats this season:
In his collegiate career, Du has yet to record a minute of action. Nevertheless, college football fans are crazy about his jersey. What is the reason for this? The name is written with traditional Chinese characters, not the usual English spelling.
Excited to announce I’ve signed an NIL deal with CTESPN & @ab84 @nypost has it wrong… spoiled?? No way
