By now, most have seen the “some guys can handle Vegas” from the Irish tweet today. Notre Dame jersey reveal goes viral on Twitter. The team sent out a video that was a reenactment of the hangover scene with meeting the guys and tossing them the bag of money in the desert.
The Fighting Irish’s social media team had Isaiah Foskey, Michael Mayer, and head coach Marcus Freeman reenact the scene. The three have to throw the bag to Mike Golic Sr. and Mike Golic Jr. in exchange for the jersey. They then got the jersey, but realize it was the wrong one. Then Freeman and the two players travel to Las Vegas to retrieve the right jersey. When they get there and find the bag, they pull the Jersey out and say “the white jersey with the gold numbers”. They celebrate, then it cuts to Freeman walking into the stadium with the two players. The players are wearing the jerseys while saying they’re back. It really is a well put together Video and it has definitely gotten attention. Some has talked about how well the acting was. While others on how good the visuals was. Either way it was a very clever way to reveal the new jerseys they will be wearing on October 8th against BYU.
Notre Dame is a cool team again picking up a lot of new fans while getting old fans excited. This viral video is just one of the many things Notre Dame is doing this season. Check some of them out here in these articles.
