The LSU Tigers will be facing the Vanderbilt Commodores at home this weekend. The opening kickoff for this game will be at 7:45 p.m. ET on SEC Network. This season, Vanderbilt has a 6-4 record and LSU also has a 6-4 record.
The Commodores have shown signs of improvement this season and the Tigers have regressed this season. Vanderbilt has been one of the biggest stories in the SEC this year and LSU has been a massive disappointment.
LSU Tigers Fans Feel Checked Out Ahead of the Vanderbilt Commodores
After the loss against the Florida Gators, it eliminated LSU from winning the SEC Conference this season and also making the college football playoffs. LSU posted a picture on its Twitter page of the helmets of the Tigers and the Vanderbilt Commodores ahead of this weekend’s matchup. Here is how the Tigers fanbase is feeling ahead of this game:
Not really interested as long as Kelly is still the coach.

Hope Vandy helps y’all get a new coach quick. I miss the loud and proud Tigers! This ain’t y’all.

If the Tigers were to lose to the Commodores, there is a chance that Brian Kelly would not be able to finish out the season as the head coach of LSU. It would be an utter embarrassment to the football program. They had high expectations this season and that would be hilarious if he lost to Vanderbilt.
Three-Game Losing Streak
The Tigers are on a three-game losing streak. They have lost to the Texas A&M Aggies and the Florida Gators on the road and lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide embarrassingly at home. LSU was 6-1 at one point this season and there was some optimism for them to make the college football playoffs.
The LSU Tigers are out of the Top 25 and were in the Top 10 just a few weeks ago. Things can change quickly in college football. A loss to the Commodores on Saturday could be the end of Brian Kelly ahead of next week’s matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners.
