The Florida State Seminoles have been one of the biggest disappointments in the 2024 college football season. On Saturday, they lost once again at home against the North Carolina Tar Heels by a final score of 35-11.
With the win for North Carolina, they improved to 5-4 this season. With the loss for Florida State, they drop to 1-8 on the season. It has been a rough season for Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell. College football fans have been constantly going crazy about him this season.
College Football Fans Once Again Are Critical Of Florida State Seminoles Head Coach Mike Norvell
To no surprise, college football fans on Twitter criticized the Seminoles head coach once again after the loss against the Tar Heels. Here is what fans had to say about Florida State’s head coach:
You LOVE to see it. Fraudulant program.

Norvell is a fraud. Truly unbelievable how their season has turned out

Difficult to understand. He’s coming off an undefeated regular season. He’s recruiting from the State of Florida, and he was a great coach at Memphis. There’s no reason that FSU should ever be 1-8 with the history of the program and HS talent in FL.

After 9 games played, FSU is officially the worst Power 4 conference program of the season. The only other Power 4 conference program to have only 1 win is Purdue.

The Seminoles’ massive dropoff this season needs to be studied after the season they had last year. Would Florida State fire Mike Norvell as head coach after this season? It remains to be seen.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s Next Opponent
The next opponent for the Florida State Seminoles will be the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on the road this weekend. Florida State has a chance to do the funniest thing ever this weekend and ruin the Fighting Irish’s playoff chances for this season.
Last season, the Seminoles missed the playoffs after finishing the regular season undefeated and it was only a four-team playoff then. The odds are that Mike Norvell and his team are going to get blown out on the road once again next weekend.
