The Colorado Buffaloes are 8-3 this season and they are preparing to face the 3-8 Oklahoma State Cowboys this weekend. Colorado will most likely not make the college football playoffs, but they are very well going to be playing in a bowl game.
Head coach Deion Sanders has been criticized by many outside critics this college football season. It will be interesting to see what the future of the program holds after this season.
Colorado Buffaloes Head Coach Deion Sanders Makes Statement About Star Players
In the past, many players who did not make it to the playoffs decided to sit out of bowl games in preparation for the NFL. With the Colorado Buffaloes, many are wondering if Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will sit out of the bowl games this season.
Sanders and Hunter could very well be the Top 2 selections in the 2025 NFL Draft. On Tuesday, Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders spoke about those two players. He was asked if this weekend was going to be the last time that his son Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter would be suiting up for Colorado. He said to the media:
“No, we got a bowl game. It’s not the last time you’re gonna see them in a Buff uniform.”
This is interesting that he decided to make those comments. Some college football fans think they both should sit out if they don’t make it to the college football playoffs.

Most people are happy that Deion Sanders will have Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders play in a bowl game. Some people believe that the bowl game is meaningless and that they should not play to risk getting injured. Sanders is in a no-win situation with his comments.
