He was dealing with a strained calf injury. Haliburton had to be helped off the floor and he did not return to the game. It was confirmed that he suffered an Achilles injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Game 7 and the thing just said, “I’m out dawg, you’re on your own.”
Sadly, our legs don’t work properly with no Achilles.

A crazy stat: Tyrese Haliburton still finished Game 7 with the most three-pointers made in the game. Feel so terrible for him.

There will be some debates amongst NBA fans that the NBA should shorten the regular season from 82 games to 70 games for example. However, that isn’t the biggest story. To go along with Haliburton and Jayson Tatum popping there Achillies, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard did the same thing as well in the first round.
Kevin Durant in 2019 with the Golden State Warriors also played on a strained calf and his Achillies popped. Some people wonder if strained calf injuries are going to be treated differently moving forward. Mahomes and others feel bad for Haliburton, especially since he delivered some magical moments during the NBA playoffs. The Thunder won the NBA title over the Pacers, but everyone feels bad for Haliburton getting injured in the biggest game of his life.
