Nick Chubb, newly signed running back for the Houston Texans, spoke to press reporters on Wednesday for the very first time after joining the team and had nothing but great things to say about his fit. Chubb has been a Brown ever since he set foot in the NFL and made shocking waves across the sporting world when it was announced that he will be playing for the Texans in the upcoming NFL season.
A few days back, the entire NFL world was taken by surprise when the one-year deal between Nick Chubb and the Houston Texans was announced. Chubb will be an important player for the Texans roster in the next football season.
“I was questioning why they wanted me, and then I came here and I saw a bunch of guys who like to work and not talk, and I realized that I’m a perfect fit. So I realized why they wanted me here, and I’m excited about it.” Nick Chubb said to reporters during his introductory press conference on Wednesday about leaving the Cleveland Browns and signing with the Houston Texans.
Nick Chubb was sidelined by the Cleveland Browns after he injured his knee in the 2023 NFL season. The injury never healed on time for the next football season and the running back was not present in the first few games of the 2024 NFL season.

Nick Chubb Will Not Play Again For Cleveland Browns, Says Andrew Berry
It’s not even been a week since Nick Chubb became an official Houston Texan, and fans of Cleveland are already waiting for news that the running back will join the Browns someday soon. However, Cleveland’s general manager, Andrew Berry, put an end to these hopes in a recent statement. Berry mentioned that there was no possibility of Chubb playing for the Browns anytime soon, at least not in his time with the team.

Meanwhile, it does not look like Chubbs himself wants to go back to the Browns. In his very first press meet as a Houston Texan, Chubbs praised the culture in the Houston training facility and also commended the franchise for doers and not talkers.

Nick Chubb seems to have fully recovered from his knee injury, which has affected his performance in the last couple of seasons with the Cleveland Browns. With Chubb’s entry, the Houston Texans offense has no doubt drastically improved, and the team may even have a shot at making it to the Super Bowl.
