As usual, the NFL is still the premiere sport to watch. Every Sunday brings us fans together with beer, soda, pizza, and wings. But who are the NFL’s best 2 teams? It also entices us to watch our players to see who racks up the most fantasy points. Additionally, we hold our breath in hopes of no injuries to our premiere players who we start each week.
All 32-teams in the league enter in at an even and well-balanced playing field. Only the toughest and mentally strong will survive. So NFL fans, here’s the burning question of the hour. Who are the 2 best teams in the NFL?
THE NFL’S BEST 2 TEAMS — WHAT MAKES THEM GET HERE?
#1. The Buffalo Bills
Quarterback Josh Allen is once again having a terrific start to the 2022 season. The Firebaugh, California native has improved every year since being drafted 7th overall in 2018. Again, the 26-year-old is in the MVP conversation this year and this could be the year where he wins the Title.
Last Sunday, Allen faced someone he knows very well and considers to be a friend in Chiefs signal-caller Patrick Mahomes. Even though they are rivals on the football field, they are actually close pals as they were partnered up back in June for “The Match” Exhibition Golf tournament against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. But when the two are lining up against each other on the field, they are rivals for that time being.
The Bills and their franchise quarterback had one thing on their mind during last week’s contest against the Kansas City Chiefs, “revenge”. They painfully remember (as much as they want to forget) 13-seconds being on the clock and allowing Mahomes and the Chiefs to drive down the field and kick a field goal to force overtime in last January’s AFC Divisional Showdown at Arrowhead Stadium.
Then before overtime, there was the coin toss debacle that would eventually change the way overtime possession would now work for each team in the playoffs. Kansas City won the coin toss and they received the ball first. They marched down the field where Tight End Travis Kelce broke the Bills heart knocking them out of a possible Super Bowl run. This year however, the boys from Orchard Park would have none of it.

At first, Buffalo felt like it was going to be deja vu all over again. Tight End Dawson Knox caught a td pass from Allen with 1:04 remaining in the game. Like last year, Mahomes and Kansas City would have the last shot.
As Mahomes went back to throw, it looked like the Chiefs were going to pull ahead, but Bills Cornerback Taron Johnson saved the day with a game sealing pick off of “Number 15” of the Chiefs. As Chris Berman of ESPN always says and as the Bills did many times during the glory days of the 1990’s, “No one Circles the Wagon like the Buffalo Bills.”
It’s Miller Time in Buffalo
Free agent Pass Rusher Von Miller is now with the Buffalo Bills and is still causing havoc for other quarterbacks in the league. The 33-year-old Native Texan was deep in the heart Sunday afternoon as he piled two sacks and pressured Mahomes several times. Miller was the extra pass rusher the Bills needed last year to be able to force number 15 on the Chiefs into uncomfortable situations.
The Bills are lucky to have Miller blowing up for sacks because he opens up his teammates to make sacks and force opponents into those long third down conversions. While the former Denver Bronco and LA Ram is always coming with pressure, he made a critical stop on third down with over a minute to go in the game to help give the Bills the ball back one last time to go down and score a touchdown.
#2. The Philadelphia Eagles
Good news Philly fans. The Eagles are off to a 6-0 start under second-year head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts. Philadelphia has taken flight in every single game in the first-half so far. They are probably one of the best coached teams to start off games. They could go undefeated, but unfortunately, there’s a second-half of games too. The other bird team in the league has been the opposite of dominant in the second-half getting too comfortable.

They are outscoring teams by a bunch in the first half, but have been shut out or have been limited to one score in the second. For example, Philly led Detroit 31-14 in the first-half in Week 1, but were outscored 21-7 by the Lions in the second-half and barely won 38-35.
In the next two weeks, the Eagles were blanked in the second-half. Then against the Jags they only scored seven second-half points and then six against Arizona.
The Eagles might be singing, “Fly Eagles Fly” right now, but if they don’t clean up their sloppiness and close out games better in the second half, then the rest of the league will be singing, “Cry, Eagles Cry“.
Credit does go out to Jalen Hurts as the Eagles Signal Caller has run the offense very well and has run the RPO (Run Pass Option) to perfection. And that wraps up our reasoning for who are the NFL’s best 2 teams.

Love the Bills, hate the green bastards…
Let’s hope the bills keep it up and the eagle don’t. Would love to see giants bills in the Superbowl and I’m sure the bills would win.
The bills are the real deal
