This NFL Week 4 preview features battles within NFL divisions and a chess match between two incredible quarterbacks.
Kansas City @ Tampa Bay Sun 8:20
The first game of this NFL Week 4 preview features two of the greats, of the present. These quarterbacks face each other with vastly different teams behind them. The Chiefs have lost the spice they had years back, and Tampa faces a lot of injuries. Not too much to be said here, I’ll go Kansas City.
Broncos @ Raiders Sun 4:25 pm
The Broncos have finally found their future. Since the days of John Elway, the Broncos have yearned for the answer at Quarterback. Each season they believed in the future and it has yet to come. Russell Wilson joined the Orange at Mile High this offseason in hopes of rewriting his career which was taking a downward spiral in Seattle.
They lost their opener to a low Seahawks team, they put up only 16 against the Texans and they squeezed a lucky win against the 49ers last week. Their defense has been stellar but their offense has been horrific.
The Raiders have been on the wrong side of luck all season so far. All 3 of their losses were winnable and it’s hard to believe the winless streak continues, I think the Raiders finally get on the board this week
Titans @ Colts Sun 1:00 pm
The Titans will head to Indianapolis for their first division game of the year to take on the Colts. Both teams coming off of big wins.
The Titans got their first win of the season beating the Raiders despite scoring no second-half points, according to ESPN.com. The team’s offense still looks out of sync and it’s believed the best of King Henry has yet to be seen. The Colts have technically only lost once but it was an ugly one getting shut out 24-0 by the Jaguars.
They are coming off a hot win against KC, but Matt Ryan likes to make a lot of mistakes. It feels as if the Titans have a bit more to work with.
Bears @ Giants Sun 1:00 pm
Brought back down to earth by the Cowboys Monday the Giants who have had little to no help from their Receivers now are in an even deeper hole losing Sterling Shepard this past week to an ACL injury.
The Bears are coming off a game-winning FG over Houston. It could easily be expected for this to have a similar result to the Giant’s game against Carolina weeks ago.
It’s a toss-up to pick a winner here but with both passing stats on either side, I’d expect a run-heavy between both QBs and running backs. I’ll take The G-men in a close one.
Jaguars @ Eagles Sun 1:00 pm
Couldn’t be Trevor Lawrence and the Jags could it? Well it is. The Jags are coming off of 2 dominant performances and have given up 10 total points in the last 2 games. They put out the Colts 24-0. A game where Lawrence was nearly perfect at 25-30 for 235 yds and 2 TDs. Last week they obliterated the Chargers 38-10 and have put up 62 points in the last 2 games. Last week Trevor threw for 262 yds and 3 TDS.
On the other side a team with an even hotter Hand the Eagles who have dominated most of their opponents. Jalen Hurts has been on an astronomical warpath and the team has given up just 14 points in their last 2 games. Although Trevor and the Jags have looked stellar the past 2 games the star power of the Eagles seems like just to much for them and I expect maybe an offensive slugfest but it’s hard to root against the Eagles right now.
