NFL star Tyreek Hill is getting sued by the influencer Sophie Hall, and she is reportedly seeking an immediate jury trail for her case. The Miami Dolphins star has since pushed back against these accusations but a trial may be coming soon.
Miami Dolphins Star Tyreek Hill Being Sued For Assault
The plus sixed model Hall, filed a lawsuit against Hill way back in February and she is suing Hill for “battery, assault and negligence.” The news broke on Fox Sports that Hall is going to pursue a trail. That broke on Tuesday, that Hall wants a jury trail as soon as possible.
“The social influencer suing Tyreek Hill, accusing him of breaking her leg, is now asking for an immediate jury trial,” Slater tweeted this morning. “If the judge grants this request, the next available date could be during NFL season. The woman’s attorney says the trial would take 7-10 days.”
In the law suit which was filed in Broward County Court, Hall claims that Hill was embarrassed by the fact that Hall was able to cover him in a football drill at Hill’s house, and then Hill proceeded to shove her after. Haul alleges that Hill “became enraged and forcefully and purposefully shoved” her, which resulted in her breaking her leg.
Hall did not just get a light bruise from the altercation as she reportedly required surgery for the leg and needed multiple months of physical therapy following her surgery for her broken leg. Hall is now seeking $75,000 in damages from the whole incident.
Tyreek’s attorney has already responded to these comments way back in March. He claims that this entire lawsuit is just an attempt to “generate bad publicity for Mr. Hill. He continued by saying that this is simply an attempt that is a ‘scare tactic’ in order to make Hill cover the cost of Halls medical bills.
Hill has a different narrative to the story as he alleges that Hall injured her leg by tripping over a dog while engaging in the football drill. Either way it seems that Hill may have to find a way to settle this suit or he may have to show up in court for this to all get settled.
