In a tweet released by the NFL, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow can be seen taking one to the house in a sprint past the Los Angeles Chargers defense for 6 points and a Bengals touchdown. Also, in the upper right corner of the video you will see Joe Burrows speed hit a whopping 50 miles per hour.

Now I know what your thinking doesn’t big cats (pun intended) run that fast? Well, while Joe Burrow is super-fast and agile for an NFL QB, he isn’t the fastest man on the planet. That title goes to Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record holder Usain Bolt who in 2009 ran a top speed of 23.35 miles per hour.
Despite knowing the speed in the video was a little off that didn’t stop the NFL from replying to a tweet from this past years Offensive Rookie of the Year winner and Bengals Wide Receiver Ja’marr Chase who tweeted out that “Joey B swear he fast y’all, like 20 MPH fast”.

Joe Burrow himself also weighed in explaining that he is in fact sneaky fast.
